Data Entry / Virtual Assistant

Qualifications:

• General knowledge of fashion brands, styles, fabric types & prints
• Ability to refer to and understand size charts and size conversions
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to communicate effectively through written words and text messages, utilizing English
• This is a remote position with flexibility on hours of day worked, however one day on the weekend is required to log in and do some listings
• Ability to use a computer including typing, Uploading photos from Dropbox, navigating a data base, searching the internet for comparative items to help create accurate listings
• Strong and accurate data entry skills with the ability to type 30 WPM
• Ability to sit for long periods at a time or duration of contracted work
• Ability to make independent decisions on categorization and product descriptions
• If not logging in for 24 hours or more, advanced notice must be given, all vacation time off time needs a 1 week notice as a courtesy to listing team.

• Ability to efficiently meet and/or exceed production output demands
• Exceptional vision including close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus & differentiate colors & fabrics on the screen
• Detail oriented, self disciplined, and able to complete daily repetitive goals / tasks
• Professional work attitude while working remotely
• Ability to keep and stick to a schedule that will allow work to be completed.

Responsibilities:

• Will reference inventory product tags numbers and enter product inventory tag numbers into the database
• Must use independent judgement as well as product guidelines in handbook to determine appropriate product categories and descriptive word choices
• Responsible for creating product listings in the Jens Worldwide Closet online store
• Ability to attend team meetings via Zoom when scheduled
• Will need to enter information including measurements, key words, fashion terminology, fabric types and information about flaws or defects to complete an accurate description of each item
