Job Description
Position Summary


The Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for assisting the Project Controls Team with day to day data entry and analytical data collected for specific projects. The incumbent will exhibit advanced attention to detail and follow through to effectively support the team. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.


Responsibilities


  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date files and data
  • Heavy data entry
  • Administrative assistance to the project managers.
  • Strong organizational skills required.
  • Preparing expense accruals and general ledger reconciliations
  • Review received bills for accuracy and completeness. Request approval if applicable.
  • Sorts and files documents after processing.
  • Maintains files in an organized and accessible manner to include updating information, purging files on a regular basis, and creating new filing systems as needed.
  • Assist with the collection of expense report data.
  • Diligently and correctly enter data collected by our product line managers.
  • Collect and confirm information given.
  • May perform other basic clerical duties as needed.
  • Respond in a timely manner and assure resolution to all management, client and vendor inquiries
  • Handles all sensitive material with the highest degree of confidentiality.
  • Composes, prepares, and proofreads correspondence provided and reports findings adequately.
  • Assisting with other administrative duties or projects as needed
  • Resolving discrepancies with clear, concise, and professional communication

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities


  • Attention to detail and a high level of organizational skills with the ability to multi-task;
  • Advanced skills using Microsoft Office - particularly Excel;
  • Must have a positive attitude and work well with others;
  • Must have the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and exercise good judgment.


Physical Demands


  • Able to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer;
  • Able to lift and carry files weighing up to 5 pounds;
  • Vision to read printed materials and a computer screen;
  • Hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone.
  • Able to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions;


Job Type


Direct Hire basis. Benefit eligible after successfully completing 30 days of employment. Rich benefits packages are available such as health & welfare insurance, 401k profit-sharing plan, life insurance etc.
