Procorp Systems is looking for a Data Engineer - DataStage ETL to join our team in Des Moines, IA, with flexibility for some remote work. This is a hybrid role that would involve some work from home. The contract role entails developing and maintaining DataStage jobs, including ETL, while also troubleshooting production issues and providing fixes. Additionally, this role will assist with the design, build and deployment of DataStage projects and promote the use of DataStage best practices.

• Experience in control versioning, performance tuning, system monitoring, and automation
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical teams
• Resourcefulness, commitment to quality, and a can-do attitude
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and bring about positive change through innovation, creativity, and initiative
• Knowledge in an Agile environment, with a familiar concept of software development lifecycle
• 5+ years of SQL or other data manipulation language experience
• 5+ years of experience with IBM DataStage, including ETL
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
