About the role

We are looking for a diligent and self-motivated Data and Research Analyst to join our dynamic team within the data and research department. As a vital contributor, this person will be responsible for aggregating and scrutinizing data, providing actionable insights, and spearheading the management and execution of projects across various domains throughout the family office, registered investment advisor, broker dealer, alternative investment, and capital markets spaces. The ideal candidate will consistently demonstrate problem-solving abilities and take initiatives to deliver results. FINTRX research analysts will gain extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in family offices, alternative investments, RIAs, data management, and a broad range of financial industry products.

Responsibilities:

• Stay abreast of industry trends, especially in the family office, RIA, and alternative investment sectors.
• Become proficient in data management and upkeep via SQL and other database management systems
• Collaborate with senior research and product management to ensure project success and timely completion
• Maintain documentation on data sources, methodology and processes used throughout data aggregation and analysis
• Apply problem solving abilities to identify patterns, trends and anomalies within industry data sets
• Provide actionable insights into the financial landscape

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with family office, registered investment advisor, broker dealer, alternative investment, and capital markets landscapes is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, data analysis, or computer science is preferred
• Ability to communicate complex data findings in a clear and actionable manner
• Proficiency in excel, Gsuite, HubSpot and other related software
• 0-2 years experience in the financial industry or roles related to data analysis
• Demonstrable analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional organizational skills, with the capacity to manage products and prioritize multiple tasks, keen attention to detail and self motivation
• Very high attention to detail
• Strong team player with the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
