- Work with recruiting to source qualified data analytics candidates, improve our interview process, and make great hires to continue scaling the team.
- Manage the Data Analytics team, including day to day execution and long term planning. You will partner with business stakeholders to understand each team’s data needs, prioritize them for impact, and coordinate the development of infrastructure or execution on deep-dive ad-hoc analyses that enable a data-driven culture.
- Set the long-term technical direction for Data Analytics at Honor, such as establishing standards for transforming and curating data via dbt, and ensuring that our self-serve BI & data visualization tooling strategy enables data practitioners and business users to understand the health of the business.
About you:
- Passion for managing talented data practitioners in a fast-paced environment
- A bias towards action and an iterative approach to problem-solving.
- A high level of organization and the ability to prioritize tasks and keep projects on schedule.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Engineering or related field, or equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience.
- 7+ years experience in a related field (business intelligence, analytics, data warehousing), with 3+ years in managing productive data analytics teams
- Experience with implementing and/or owning enterprise BI tooling (e.g. Looker, Tableau, PowerBI)
- Experience actively coaching and mentoring team members in their careers.
- Deep knowledge of industry best practices in self-serve analytics and analytics engineering.
- Experience with data modeling & data warehouse design
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
