Corner Alliance is a dynamic, growing consulting firm that devotes itself to providing an enriching employee experience while meeting project deliverables. We are looking to add an energetic, experienced Data Analyst with 5+ years experience required to join our Reston, VA team that will add to our culture and fully embrace our commitments to deliver, grow and thrive. During your tenure with us, you will work on various projects across Federal agencies. Those who have fulfilling careers here get involved across the company, helping the organization grow and supporting a thriving work environment. Whether you’re a Consultant or in Operations, you will work in meaningful ways to create results for the government.

If your strengths include: RF data analysis, Statistical and analytic trend evaluation, relationship building, prioritization of tasks, and having an unflappable attitude when unexpected challenges arise, then we are looking for you!

About the Role:

You will provide data analytics for a Federal government client with responsibilities spanning: leading and coordinating critical project tasks; coverage and capacity analysis, building relationships with clients and stakeholders; and report creation. This is a temporary, 6 month assignment.

Key Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Obtain data from client, structure the data for analysis, and conduct analysis to supply the client with information related to the progress towards meeting its objectives
  • Analyze data on coverage and capacity solutions and network performance
  • Collaborate with a dedicated and diverse consulting team and encourage creative solutions
  • Carry out our Commitments to Deliver, Grow, and Thrive
  • Effectively and independently driving deliverables
  • Generate reports that the program offices may use in various stages of network deployment and operations
  • Quickly establish, develop, and foster positive rapport with federal government clients in a professional, creative environment
  • Utilize various statistical and analytical approaches to review data in order to understand network build trends, coverage, and capacity as well as network performance statistics and usage
  • Provide data compilation and analysis to support efforts to make data informed decisions
  • Support strategic program and project management initiatives as directed by the Project Manager
  • RF data analysis and trending usage

Location:

This is a remote position.

Required Experience/Skills:

  • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical matters in simple terms that non-technical stakeholders can understand
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments, and roles
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or a degree in a similar field)
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in RF Engineering and quantitative analysis for a National Wireless Carrier or supporting 4G LTE and 5G wireless communications in network deployment, performance, and usage

Preferred Experience/Skills

  • Previous experience in government consulting
  • Ability to conduct various types of analyses on 4G LTE and 5G data including analysis on network deployment, performance, and usage data

Don’t think you have everything for this role but are still very interested? Please don’t hold back from applying because you may not have it all. There's no such thing as a perfect candidate. You can learn and grow with us. So, please apply if you consider yourself to be detail-oriented, can re-prioritize in a fast-paced environment, have great client management and people management skills, can manage high quality deliverables on time and this is a role that would make you excited to work every day.

And the part about consulting? You also don’t need to have a consulting background to apply - we have consultants here from many different backgrounds: non-profits, associations, government, private sector and anything in between. We offer a 2 day orientation where we teach you the Corner Alliance Way of Consulting. What you do need are: transferable skills.

Transferable Skills and Traits:

  • Prioritization Skills - ability to sequence tasks in order of terms of importance; and willingness to pivot if more important tasks arise
  • Excellent Writing Skills - ability to synthesize, be concise, use the active voice, proofread and edit
  • Resourceful - eager to learn more and develop skills you may not have; and ability to learn new systems quickly and a thirst to learn independently
  • Unflappable - capability to navigate unexpected challenges with grace and come up with thoughtful solutions; you fully embrace a ‘we-will-figure-it-out’ mindset in chaos
  • Coachable - receptive to feedback and swift on implementing suggestions
  • Rapport Builder - having a natural ability to build candid, honest relationships with our clients and colleagues
  • Innovative - willing to challenge the status quo, push boundaries, and suggest improvements to existing processes
  • Analytical and Critical Thinking Skills - ability to collect and analyze relevant information, problem-solve, and make rational decisions
