100% Remote - It Security Analyst Position

Title: IT Security Analyst

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: Full-Time Permanent

Special focus on experience with and policy/strategy writing for the following tools:

• GHAS Tracker
• Splunk
• Tripwire
• Windows Defender
• Nessus
• McAfee (Trellix)
• StackArmor
• Event Tracker
• Jira

Preferred Functional Qualifications

• IT Security support assisting OCA and SBA IT Security Officer with plan and prepare for Recovery testing to support the following activities; Support Business Continuity planning, preparation and testing for disaster recovery.
• Experience conducting control assessments
• IT Security support across a broad spectrum of platforms and applications, and facilities. This includes IT-security representation for OCA systems, servicing SBA IT-Security requests and support for creating and maintaining Policies and Strategies.
• Recent experience providing subject matter expertise for control analysis according to FISMA and NIST 800-53
• IT Security support in the scheduled review of system security vulnerability scan results. Identifies critical issues and suggested resolution.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Software Engineer, Security, or others) OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• IT Security support providing solutions for C&A documentation and other IT Security requirements.

Preferred Technical Qualifications

• CISSP, CAP, CISA, or equivalent certification and continuing related professional development (or within 6 months of hire)
• 4 6 years of experience in information security
