About the job Product Analysts provide quantitative support and analysis, and a strategic perspective to our product partners throughout the Core Data organization. As a data passionate member of the team, you'll serve as an analytics expert for your partners, using metrics to help them understand the interactions with their products to help the partner make better decisions. You will build workflows, create dashboards and weave stories with meaningful insight from data
Minimum qualifications:
● 4-5 years work experience in analytics or data science.
● Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as; Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Sciences.
● Experience converting business and product questions into data-focused analysis questions
● Experience with advanced SQL, querying from big-data repositories, not just relational databases ● Experience pulling data from very large, sometimes unstructured datasets and using statistics and aggregations to arrive at an answer.
Preferred qualifications:
● Master's degree in a quantitative field such as; Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Sciences.
● Experience in scripting with SQL, extracting & summarizing from large sets of data, and design of ETL workflows.
● Experience with code notebooks such as Jupyter or Google Colab.
● Experience in an interdisciplinary/cross-functional field.
● Interest and aptitude in data, metrics, analysis and trends and applied knowledge of measurement, statistics and program evaluation.
● Ability to translate analysis results into business recommendations, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
● Distinctive problem solving skills and impeccable business judgment. ● Experience with modeling and forecasting with basic regression
● Experience with machine learning, from feature engineering to building machine learning models and running them.
● 3 years of experience working with statistical & modeling packages (e.g. R, Python (NumPy, Pandas), MATLAB, TensorFlow, etc.).
