About the role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our fast-growing CRM team. Your expertise in data analysis and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights will contribute to decision-making processes and help drive business growth. As the CRM Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in leveraging BI tools and techniques to establish data accessibility, adoption, and impact across the organization. You will use these same tools to analyze and interpret customer data and to provide valuable insights and recommendations to further optimize our broader business goals.
What you’ll do:
  • Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret large volumes of customer data from various sources, including CRM systems, databases, and external platforms
  • Leverage our robust suite of data and reporting dashboards (in Looker + our Customer Data Platform) to uncover trends and opportunities within our customer base and for the broader business
  • Build a comprehensive understanding of all of our current data systems and platforms in order to maximize the data contents of each
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with industry best practices, emerging trends, and new technologies in CRM and data analysis to proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and innovation
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Provide data-driven recommendations to improve customer acquisition, retention, cross-selling, and upselling strategies
  • Predictive Analysis: Utilize statistical modeling techniques and predictive analytics to forecast customer behavior, identify opportunities, and develop various marketing measurement and attribution models
  • Reporting and Visualization: Develop insightful reports, KPI dashboards, queries, and data visualizations in Looker and our CDP to communicate key findings and trends to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, merchandising, and IT, to gather requirements, drive data-driven initiatives, ensure alignment across departments, and aid in further reporting needs
  • Data Quality and Integrity: Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity by performing regular data audits, identifying anomalies, and implementing necessary data cleansing and enrichment activities. Work with engineering team to expand data models and build more robust data pipelines
  • Work directly with the CRM Director and team to answer business questions and build strategic roadmaps through data analysis
What you’ll bring:
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate analytical concepts and complex ideas with confidence and in an easy-to-understand manner for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably for a B2C brand in the retail industry
  • Strong understanding of data analysis techniques (regression, classification, and categorization), statistical modeling, and data visualization principles; with a track record of using them to help solve business problems
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and use feedback to improve processes
  • Comfortable working at times in new territory, learning on the fly, and taking initiative in finding solutions on your own
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy/integrity, with the ability to audit independently and explain discrepancies to stakeholders
  • Working knowledge of SQL, with an interest in learning more
  • Commitment to learning new technologies and tools
  • Proficiency with other querying languages, scripting languages, and statistical/mathematical programming languages is preferred but not required
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Experience with BI Tools (such as Looker) and/or ETL Tools preferred
What you’ll get:
  • Health, Dental, Vision, and other Ancillary Benefits
  • Discount on clothing plus semi-annual gift card allotment
  • Advancement Opportunities
  • Competitive Compensation
  • Discretionary Time Off Policy
  • 10 Company Holidays Annually
  • 401k Incentive Savings Plan
