Role Description
CLS Health is seeking a proactive, business-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. This role is integral in driving our mission to transform healthcare. The ideal candidate will employ a sophisticated level of analysis to business process changes, operational data, and financial metrics. They will be pivotal in integrating process improvement and business operations expertise to solve complex problems.
Core Responsibilities
- Conduct complex analyses based on operational, economic, or financial data to evaluate competitive performance, potential operational changes, and new methodologies.
- Utilize descriptive, predictive, and forecasting analytics to identify trends, patterns, gaps, and insights. Apply data visualization tools, specifically PowerBI, to enhance business understanding.
- Develop, update, and analyze complex metrics to assess operational performance, staffing needs, productivity, or other valuable measures for the organization.
- Partner with stakeholders to design, test, implement, and evaluate business process changes to improve business outcomes. Lead implementations and evaluations of large-scope business process changes.
- Build business cases for changes to current practices, programs, or procedures. Conduct current state assessments, opportunity assessments, cost/benefit analysis, feasibility assessments, etc., and present findings to senior leaders.
We're Looking For
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data to stakeholders clearly.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools, especially PowerBI.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Authorization to work in the US.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a highly quantitative field (e.g. Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Economics, Engineering/Physics, Accounting, or Computer Science)
- Advanced MS Excel skills (PowerPivot, VBA, functions).
- An analytical mind, with an ability to handle complex data and business processes.
