Project Notes/Background

• Oracle SQL, Excel, VBA; do not need SAAS or PowerBI
• Ramping up system conversions
• They don’t have a lot of translation documents; needs someone who can learn on the fly
• Need help running SQL queries to make sure data is validated
• This role is NOT data warehouse and reporting; This role IS database
• Mapping logic
• Core banking app – converting it

Job Overview:

The Data Analyst will support the core banking system conversion. The analyst will review the system mapping documentation and create queries to validate that the data was converted correctly. This position requires strong SQL skills and experience in data exploration and analysis. Outputs will primarily be Excel files to show exception lists for data cleanup and other outputs to determine success rates. Prior Banking experience is a plus.

• Preparing Reports and exception lists
• Analyzing and Exploring Data
• Validating Data Conversions

Job Requirements:

• HS Diploma, GED or Foreign Equivalent

• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

• 3+ years Business or Financial Analysis experience.

• 1+years Business Intelligence Software experience. (Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, etc.)

• Advanced expertise in Excel and Oracle SQL required

• Access knowledge preferred

• Knowledge/experience with Relational database concepts of tables, views, SQL's, ETL's and operational reporting
