Job Description
Our globally connected and dynamic company is based in Raleigh. We specialize in the creation, distribution, promotion, and direct marketing of innovative products. We are looking for a Customer Support Manager responsible for acting as a liaison between customers and companies. Their primary role is to assist customers hands-on with complaints, orders, errors, account questions, and other inquiries.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Inform customers of deals and promotions.
  • Handle product recalls.
  • Advice on company information.
  • Answer questions about warranties or terms of sale.
  • Place or cancel orders.
  • Attempt to persuade customers to reconsider cancellation to increase retainment.
  • Work with the customer service manager to ensure proper customer service is being delivered.
  • Knowledge about our products to better assist our customers.
  • Compile reports on overall customer satisfaction.
  • Greet customers warmly and professionally.
  • Sell products and services directly to customers.
  • Take payment information and other pertinent information such as addresses and phone numbers.
  • Assist with the placement of orders.
  • Reach out to customers directly and verify account information.
  • Suggest solutions when a product malfunctions.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:


  • Knowledge of administrative procedures
  • High school diploma, general education degree or equivalent
  • Knowledge of relevant computer applications
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Product knowledge
  • Numeric, oral, and written language applications
  • Ability to type
