We are a manufacturer of quality dry ice products located in Houston, Texas and serving industrial and commercial customers through the Southern United States. Our Dry Ice production machines can operate 24/7 and have multiple, reliable sources of CO2. Dry ice is an eco-friendly product used in a variety of industrial and commercial applications including - Pharmaceutical, Meat Processing, Industrial Manufacturing, Hospitals, Cleaning & Blasting, Airlines, Food Delivery, Grocery, Food & Beverage, and Retail Distribution.

Reporting Structure
The Customer Service Specialist will report jointly to the EVP of Business Development and the Dry Ice Head of Accounting.

What does a Customer Service Specialist do at Emory?

• Verifies for accuracy and closes orders in accounting software following delivery.
• Communicates and coordinates with other departments/coworkers as necessary.
• Maintains Accounts Payable (AP) and Purchase Order (PO) balances.
• Performs additional tasks as needed.
• Answers the telephone and/or greets customers, vendors, etc. in a courteous and professional manner and direct to the appropriate person/department.
• Files and retrieves organizational documents, records, and reports.
• Responds promptly to customer inquiries.
• Initiates and manages the process to create new customer accounts.
• Ensures appropriate coding on invoices, monitoring internal controls.
• Follows up on past due accounts.
• Processes customer orders, adding to Route Sheet and Go Canvas.

This is a good fit for you if you are:

• Advanced in knowledge of Google Suite or Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experienced with at least 2 years of on-site work experience.
• Educated with basic accounting knowledge.
• Courteous, proactive, and a well-organized professional to provide creative solutions.
• Filled with a strong desire to work effectively in a team environment.
• Familiar with NetSuite (preferred).
• Able to learn the overall business of dry ice.
• Exceptional with communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• A high school graduate or have obtained your general education degree (GED).

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
