Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Facilitates service for customers, including all utility account maintenance.
- Provides customer service by responding to requests for information from customers and resolving related problems.
- Performs administrative duties by copying, filing, faxing, typing, entering data, and preparing, storing, and distributing mail and correspondence.
- Performs data entry for customer complaints, telephone system reports, departmental monthly reports, and other reports as appropriate.
- Responds to telephone or radio inquiries for a variety of information.
- May handle calls after hours due to emergencies.
- Documents customer information from the general public regarding complaints, service requests, commendations, surveys, and general inquiries.
- Performs other similar duties as required

- Basic knowledge of all City department functions
