Customer Service Representative / Teller

First National Bank is seeking a Customer Service Representative/Teller (CSR/Teller) to join the Retail team, reporting to the Branch Manager.

The CSR/Teller must have a proven record of being a successful team member with extraordinary customer service, cash handling, and verbal communication skills. In addition, a CSR/Teller will:

• Be able to remain courteous and focused while performing transactions in a fast paced environment
• Have proven proficiency and accuracy in performing daily transactions

What will you be doing in this role?

• Making referrals of products and services to expand customer relationships
• Completing transactions with courtesy, promptness, and accuracy
• Suggesting available products and services to new and existing customers
• Preparing and maintaining data records and transaction paperwork

Requirements:

What will you need?

• Proficiency in the use of multiple PC-based software programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook, Teller Platform, and Internet banking
• Ability to set priorities for completing multiple tasks by set deadlines with minimal guidance
• Basic math skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide; calculate interest and account balances; locate routine mathematical errors; and count currency and coin
• High School diploma or equivalency

• This position works in a normal office environment.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk and sit. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
