Summary


Perform complex customer service representative and procurement duties as required. This position will be the first point of contact and provide support to VA Operations Branch. This position is required to effectively communicate with customers and process information from customer interactions. Supports operations with administrative tasks as assigned and coordinates office activities.


Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include The Following.


  • Collaborate with internal departments to aid in streamlining VA operations
  • Communicates often with potential customers, clients, vendors, and EEWP stakeholders
  • Aids in the inventory control process
  • Other projects as assigned
  • Assist in scheduling and coordinating deliveries and/or transfers of materials
  • Manage high-volume of incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries
  • Process reload activities for procurement by receiving paperwork and entering data, invoicing, creating purchase orders, and sales orders
  • Manage, input, and process documentation relating to orders, quotes, receiving, invoicing, delivery, charge for, and returns
  • Coordinates with Procurement Specialist in handling direct shipments for the VA Branch
  • Aid in directing and processing customer pick up orders

Qualifications

Education And/or Experience


Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one to three years of related experience and/or training.


Reasoning Ability


Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.


Computer Skills


To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of Great Plains or BisTrack is a plus.
