Position Overview
As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional customer service. You'll assist individuals in navigating and enrolling in benefit plans, ensuring they have access to the vital healthcare and pension resources they need.
Key Responsibilities
Enrollment Assistance: Guide members through the benefit plan enrollment process.
Plan Updates: Make updates to healthcare and pension plans as required.
Multi-Client Support: Start with one client and expand your expertise by cross-training to assist on multiple accounts.
Communication Mastery: Engage with customers through phone, webchat, and email, building strong rapport.
Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion, adhering to HIPAA and Data Privacy laws.
Simplifying Complex Concepts: Translate intricate health and welfare and pension information into easily digestible explanations.
Documentation: Maintain accurate call and case notes in accordance with company and client procedures.
Flexibility: Adapt to varying work hours, particularly during peak seasons.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Customer Service Experience: Prior experience in customer service.
Commitment: Mandatory attendance for the initial 90 days.
Preferred Experience: Prior phone work experience is advantageous.
