WHAT YOU GET TO DO
- Covers reception desk as needed
- Processes credit memos
- Communicate over the phone to the customer to attain monthly goals in a professional manner
- May be required to flex hours to support all areas of the business
- Enters high level special orders such as samples, manual price override orders and credit adjustments
- Prepares new and change of account customer applications
- Additional duties as assigned by management
- Drive distribution of new products of supplier portfolios to build the customer’s and company’s business
- Prepares Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)
- Prepares and enters payments from Drivers, Sales Representatives and incoming mail for accounts receivable entry including processing credit card payments
- Responsible for setting up new and existing customers in Customer Corner
- Covers vacation routes telephonically for Sales Representatives
- Creates a personal emotional connection with all customers from initial call to follow up
- Ability to overcome objections, ask for the sale and submit an accurate order
- Responsible for processing incoming mail, assembling outgoing mail and verifying appropriate postage
- Assists in checking inventory and wine vintages
- Adds delivery notes to invoices in SharePoint
- Knowledge of products, categories, able to assist the customer in growing their business
- Verifies all Customer Pick Up (CPU) copies are returned
- Provides support to assigned sales territories regarding customer and order related inquiries
- Interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products, enters orders and handle complaints

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU
- Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years’ customer service experience preferred
- A minimum of an Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Experience in a distribution and/or sales environment preferred
