Job Description

One Call Concepts is looking for full-time Customer Service Representatives to handle incoming telephone requests from excavators, homeowners, and facility operators. We provide both technical and emergency damage prevention services in Oregon, Washington, Montana, Hawaii, and Kootenai county, Idaho.

  • The center is open Mon-Fri 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM CST and from 7:00am – 6:00 PM on weekends.

: We are an Inbound Only call center based in Portland, Oregon that provides 811 services in 5 states. The Customer Service Representative (CSR) will answer inbound calls and follow scripted questions from callers who will be digging. During the call, the CSR will obtain information about the customers and their work site. This information will be data entered into a ticket format; following data entry the CSR will then identify the work site on a mapping system similar to Google Maps. CSRs must be focused on quality and have excellent communication skills.

No prior experience is necessary. There is a paid training course that will cover everything that you will need to succeed. Training will be conducted in an on-site locate in Salem in person. Once training is complete you will have the opportunity to work in the office or remotely. The position is 40 hours a week with overtime opportunities. This is a job opportunity with no nights expected.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • General computer skills
  • Ability to listen and problem solve effectively
  • Ability to adhere to a work schedule including having good attendance
  • Must pass a criminal background check
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience
  • Availability to work during operating hours of the call center
  • Ability to work as a team
  • Willingness to work overtime based upon the business needs of the call center
