Overview


Cirkul is seeking a Customer Service Manager to join our growing team! The Customer Service Manager will be an exceptional people leader and customer service guru. The perfect applicant for this role will be conversant in all facets of the customer journey, skilled at solving customer service inquiries, work well in a high-volume position, possess excellent coaching and communication skills, model the company culture, and have extensive experience with customer solutions and team management. This person must be a talented communicator able to create a positive overall customer experience.


Responsibilities


  • Develop and achieve performance goals and objectives.
  • Handle all employee inquiries including hiring, performance management and goal setting.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations, coaching, and development of multiple teams of agents whose primary function is to provide best-in-class quality customer service by responding to telephone inquiries, answering emails, handling live chats, and resolving customer issues.
  • Solve complex customer service issues and proactively head off negative service trends.
  • Train and motivate employees; plan, assign, and direct work; and support effective conflict resolution.
  • Communicate policies to associates and become the primary information source for staff; following-up to ensure compliance and consistency; take corrective action as necessary.
  • Understand and correctly utilize resources provided by internal systems, departments, policies, and procedures.
  • Constantly analyze and improve strategies/processes along with developing and implementing short- and long-range goals for the customer service team.
  • Develop standards to improve the customer service experience, creating engaged customers, and facilitating organic growth.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Excellent time-management, organizational and prioritization skills.
  • 5+ years working in a call/email/chat environment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues quickly and in a timely manner
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • 4+ years people management experience.
