Our focus on combatting climate change through clean energy technology, our new net zero climate vision for 2030 and enhanced commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion; and supporting the communities we serve make this a particularly exciting time to join PSEG. **Job Responsibilities** + Direct supervision of UWUA associates who process customer mail payments. + Monitor and analyze individual performance toward achievement of scorecard targets. + Plan, organize and coordinate a diverse workforce on short and long term basis to work safely and efficiently to maximize operational effectiveness and achieve department targets. + Supervise and lead by initiating, guiding and supporting associate involvement by creating/facilitating problem solving geared to establish best practice approaches to customer service activities. + Analyze data to assess customer satisfaction and adjust local procedures as necessary. + Maintain staff levels/requirements to best meet customer needs. + Achieve operational excellence and safe work behaviors through leadership, teamwork and effective communication. + Maintain and apply working knowledge of PSE&G Standards/Controls and meet management's expectation for effective internal business controls. **Job Specific Qualifications** **Required:** + BS/BA degree or in lieu of a degree a minimum of 6 years' experience in Customer Operations including an understanding of the meter-to-cash process + Demonstrated supervisory, leadership and analytical skills + Working knowledge of SAP/Customer Care System (CCS) + Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills + Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization. + Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks + Take initiative to improve productivity + Must possess a valid driver's license with a safe and satisfactory driver history + Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Suite applications **Desired:** + Experience working with union associates and the grievance process + Knowledge of Regulatory and Company policies related to customer accounts as well as collections and payment processing procedures + Superior problem solving skills + Experience working with banking or Treasury Systems and customer technology experience **Education** Bachelors **Disclaimer** Certain positions at the Company may require you to have access to Part 810-Controlled Information.
