ABOUT THE ROLE

Genexa is looking for a Customer Logistics Associate to help process wholesale customer orders promptly and accurately. The role will be responsible for providing excellent service to our wholesale customers (large national retailers and distributors), monitoring orders through the fulfillment process, and invoicing customers. Additionally, this role will work with third-party logistics and warehousing providers to coordinate outbound logistics, prepare shipping labels, and review/approve logistics and warehousing invoices for payment.


The role will need to have a deep understanding of Genexa's inventory management system, OTC seasonal sales trends, the ability to monitor on-hand inventory levels, manage warehouse inventory levels, and compile metrics and reports related to sales and inventory movement. The role will also need to prepare weekly dashboards and other reports for the Leadership (sales, finance & operations) team while continuously improving existing procedures and processes.


YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

The essential functions include but are not limited to the following:


1.Process customer orders from multiple channels and sources such as national and regional retailers and distributors via (EDI, e-mail, etc.) in an accurate and timely manner.

  • Manage customer-specific standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure all routing guidelines are followed and executed appropriately.
  • Monitor orders through the fulfillment process until delivery to the customer, ensuring orders are shipped on time and in full.
  • Provide excellent, responsive customer service.
  • Invoice customers and assist with Accounts Receivable tracking.

2.Liaise with third-party logistics and warehousing providers to coordinate outbound logistics, including LTL/TL freight and small parcel shipments.

3. Prepare shipping labels and complete Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transaction sets as necessary.

4. Develop a deep understanding of inventory management and sales trends by product line and SKU.

  • Compile metrics and prepare reports related to sales and inventory movement.
  • Monitor on-hand inventory levels by location and help manage inventory aging and days on hand.
  • Improve existing operations and finance processes and develop/implement new approaches to improve efficiency.
  • Liaise with buyers on orders, downstream customer-owned inventory, and potential claims.
  • Prepare weekly dashboards and other ad hoc reports for management, sales, and finance functions.
  • Manage warehouse inventory levels and support the completion of monthly inventory reconciliations across all sites.


WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE

  • Experience with NetSuite and EDI transaction sets strongly preferred.
  • Experience working in CPG and growth companies.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience, such as supply chain, B2B customer service, or supply/demand planning
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel required.
  • Experience in or knowledge of the OTC market- Preferred

  • Accuracy and detail-oriented are critical - the ideal candidate should be highly organized and efficient, with the ability to 'roll with the punches.'
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, or related field
