Job Description
CUSTODIAN - Local business seeking responsible individuals with reliable personal transportation to clean at local (Ithaca) property locations. Ideal candidates will have cleaning experience, be self-starters and team-players.


Responsibilities may include:


  • Cleaning Windows, Mirrors and Partitions
  • Scrubbing, Sanitizing and Supplying Restrooms
  • Shampooing/Steam-Cleaning of Carpets and Rugs
  • Follow proper procedures for using Chemical Cleaners and Powered Cleaning Machinery to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
  • Keeping Buildings and Surrounding properties in good order
  • Snow Removal around Properties
  • Managing inventory of Cleaning Products
  • Sweeping, Mopping and Vacuuming
  • Gathering and emptying trash
  • Dusting of Furniture, Walls and Furniture
  • Notifying Property Managers of any Maintenance Issues


Qualifications


  • Ability to Stand, Walk, Stoop and Bend
  • Ability to Lift and Carry up to 50 pounds
  • Good Communication Skills
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
  • MUST HAVE Reliable Personal Transportation
  • 1 Year of experience preferred
  • Demonstrate Attention to Detail

Full Time Schedule could include weekend days
