Custodial Staff Member Jobs

This is a part-time year around position with a flexible schedule (various weekend shifts)

Essential Functions:

• Maintain coffee machine in employee lunchroom
• Use tools and supplies, economically for each task
• Areas: bathrooms, offices, break rooms, store areas, etc.
• Clean all assigned areas, while following established procedures in a timely manner
• Advise manager when supplies are running low
• Replenish coffee and filters daily
• Empty garbage, trash, and recycling cans
• Remove and deposit garbage, trash, and recycling from assigned areas to appropriate receptacles

Position Requirements:

• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Detailed oriented and ability to prioritize projects

Work Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 10 lbs. consistently and 25 lbs. occasionally
• Near constant physical activity required, including standing, walking, reaching, bending, lifting, stooping, climbing, pushing, pulling, squeezing, and grasping

Work Environment:

• Fast paced
• Dirty, dusty, muddy work areas
• Indoor and outdoor activities including in greenhouse locations with fans and other cooling devices, but without air conditioning; the temperature in warm-weather seasons can reach 95+ degrees at times; outdoor work can take place in winter
