Job Description
What to Expect

The Culinary Associate is an integral part of the Culinary Team and is responsible for executing a broad range of program goals, mostly through cross-functional planning, facilitating, and reporting. This includes the development and implementation of culinary programs, providing and ensuring excellent customer service, and administering food and beverage programs, services. Develop and manage vendor relationships, which includes sourcing, liaising and providing internal vendor support

What You’ll Do
  • Researches new technologies and alternative methods for better efficiency within the day to day operations
  • Work collaboratively with fast-paced cross-functional teams to solve complex issues, set goals, track deliverables, and report out
  • Develops and oversees projects from the definition of the scope, work plan creation, timelines, internal and external resources needed and allocates labor and resources as required
  • Creates, Tracks and reports program metrics for all on-going program efficiency
  • Monitors and analyzes current system of production and works out strategy for improving when necessary
  • Sets and reviews budgets and manages costs
  • Consolidate information from across Tesla into easily digestible forms for team and executive reviews
  • Develop operational systems, processes and policies to support better management reporting, information flow and coordination between business units
  • Research, Develops, Recommends and implements sustainable standard operating procedures for the culinary department
  • Interact with managers of different departments and organizations an liaises with other team members to accomplish culinary department projects and goals
What You’ll Bring
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to direct and motivate staff to provide excellent customer service to our internal and external customers.
  • Experience working in time critical and fast-paced product development.
  • Food Certification
  • Solid experience working with Microsoft Windows and Office which includes word outlook, processing, spreadsheets and database programs.
  • 2-5 years’ high volume food & beverage experience in related field and/or degree from an accredited university in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major.
  • Ability to quickly understand complex problems and effectively facilitate a team to decision and action.
  • Must be customer service oriented, accurate, self-motivated, and be able to use time efficiently.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
