The Credit Collections Support 2 applies industry knowledge, departmental policies and procedures to make appropriate decisions within the Factoring team. This position demonstrates consistency in work processes and proficient use of multiple systems and tools to complete tasks. This person will be joining our Collections Support team in our Nashville, TN office!
  • Collects delinquent installment by contacting customers by telephone or correspondence to obtain payment and by performing proper documentation.
  • Assists with special projects as requested.
  • Process customer refunds, process and review account adjustments, resolve customer discrepancies and short payments.
  • Maintains current knowledge of regulations, industry trends, and economic conditions that may affect the collections function.
  • Responsible for monitoring and maintaining assigned work queues – inbound & outbound customer calls & emails, account adjustments, small balance & goodwill write offs, general account maintenance.
  • Credit functions – Give temporary/permanent limit increases depending on the situation
  • Meets assigned standards and expectations as required while adhering to all company policies and procedures.
  • Seeks to identify the reason for customer inquiry and/or delinquency and assists the customer in resolving the problem permanently.
  • Collects in accordance with all state and federal laws inclusive of Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).
  • Educates the customer about the terms of the contract.
  • Enlist the efforts of sales, customer service, and account managers when necessary to accelerate the collection process.
  • Daily collection calls on early stage business debts and updating collections system account entries.

The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
