The Credit Analyst will review the creditworthiness of individuals or businesses, particularly for more

complex and sophisticated transactions, to determine the risk involved in lending money or extending

credit.

Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Of risk involved in the loan or credit request; recommends approval or denial based on results.
• Uses computer software to evaluate customers financial status and produce financial ratios.
• Credit reporting agencies, and reviews FICO scores.
• Analyzes credit data and financial statements of individuals or businesses to identify the degree
• For businesses, compares to similar businesses in terms of liquidity, profitability, and credit
• Quality of management, income growth, and market shares.
• Determines the expected profitability of loans by analyzing a business's financial data including
• Of risk involved in lending money or extending credit.
• Histories.
• Earnings, savings data, payment history, and purchase activity.
• Resolves customer complaints and verifies transactions through consultation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• For individuals, performs research to verify employment and income, inspects reports from
• Compiles information, completes loan applications, and composes reports detailing the degree
• Sets interest rates and minimum or maximum terms of repayment for customers based on
• Identifies delinquent accounts through the review of individual or commercial customer files.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education And Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or Mathematics required.
• Three to five years of related experience is required.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.

Base Pay Range

• The base pay range of this position is $60,000 to $85,000 Annually. Additional compensation through the Incentive Bonus Program is available for this position.
