Job Description

The Recruitment Sourcing Specialist is a boots-on-the-ground sourcing approach for our stylist candidates. This is a new role within the Hair Cuttery Family of Brands (HCFB) and is a creative approach to candidate pipelining and sourcing.The RSS will spend 3 days per week sourcing using social media and other job boards; and spend the other 2 days in the field meeting with beauty school students, salon professionals, and suite owners to discuss opportunities at HCFB.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Turn hiring needs into an effective strategy to deliver an ongoing pool of candidates
  • Create and maintain candidate pipelines for current and future needs
  • You will collaborate with other talent acquisition team members to ensure prospective candidates are identified that meet and support recruitment goals.
  • The Recruitment Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for driving the key TA activities which include, sourcing talent from Job Boards and ATS, initiating contact with talent from Job Boards and ATS, and building the TA candidate pipeline.
  • Understanding of search engine marketing, keywords, and social tools
  • Share market insights and relevant information to talent acquisition/hiring teams
  • Act as a partner with the talent acquisition team to understand the needs and develop ideal candidate profiles
  • As a Recruitment Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying prospects and generating candidate pipelines by utilizing multiple sourcing techniques
  • Identify, screen, and present talent to talent acquisition /hiring team members

Qualifications

  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to effectively identify and prioritize the most critical tasks
  • Must have a "solutions-focused mindset", being able to sort through information and develop innovative solutions quickly
  • Ability to connect and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Experience using rigorous analysis to determine effective solutions to a variety of talent acquisition-related problems.
  • A minimum of two years of beauty industry experience
  • Proficiency using Google mail, calendaring, and shared drives
