Source, write and edit content across multiple platforms including blog posts, website content, print publications, newsletters, scripting, and more to engage with various healthcare audiences.
Ensure tone and style, across all mediums, are consistent with brand standards and brand voice.
Work collaboratively with marketing strategists, designers, and other communicators across departments to recommend and develop content strategies that effectively create engagement and drive conversion.
Utilize a variety of sources including market and consumer research, industry trends, subject matter experts, and industry terminology to inform key messaging and accuracy in writing. Interview physicians, health care administration professionals, and patients to incorporate a unique and informative perspective into custom-written health and wellness articles.
Maintain deadlines and project management from start to finish, including outlines, drafting, and interviews with SMEs.
May complete unit/department-specific duties as outlined in department documents.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Desired knowledge and skill sets include:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments at once and work within tight deadlines.
- Ability to understand key elements of a brand framework and how to apply them within the copy.
- Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) concepts and digital marketing strategies.
- Engage in a collaborative and team-oriented environment.
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, business, or healthcare administration, or a related field.
Three (3) years of experience in marketing, public relations, communications, journalism, or a related field.
Preferred:
Experience in health care, hospitality, or service sectors.
