Position Overview: Develop concepts and write senior-level copy for marketing and advertising channels, including websites, social media, marketing collateral, and advertising, among others. Mentor less-experienced writers, and develop creative solutions for our Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid lines of business. Regularly present, give context for, and champion your ideas to the Creative Director, internal clients, and possibly others. Brainstorming, strategizing, and collaborating are also de rigueur.

SUCCESS PROFILE

Work Experience: Since this is the most senior-level Copywriter position, we prefer at least 7-10 years of related experience.

Education, Certificates, Licenses: Bachelor’s degree preferably in English, Marketing, or related field.

Knowledge: Advanced copywriting for a variety of mediums, creative problem-solving, organizational skills, and mentoring and management experience of writers. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Capable of quickly breaking down complex concepts and ideas into easy-to-understand messages. Expertise in Microsoft Office; Adobe Creative Suite knowledge a plus. Must be self-motivated, able to work both independently and as a team member. Ability to follow operational policies and procedures. Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities to meet deadlines. Ability to work across departments at all levels. Accuracy of all information published, printed, or otherwise distributed

Requirements: You must have a solid portfolio that displays several years’ worth of published advertising and marketing copywriting.

Competencies

Environment: General office setting with ergonomically configured equipment, with the option to work remotely 4 days per week. Occasional travel may be required.
