Role And Responsibilities
As a Creative Services Associate, you will play a pivotal role in elevating our audience experience through captivating designs that align with both our brand and those of our esteemed clients. Your artistic skills will be put to the test as you transform diverse data, research, and evidence into engaging visuals across multiple formats, including long-form PDF reports, animations/videos, websites, presentations, infographics, and promotional materials.
Key Responsibilities
Apply and maintain consistent design standards as per brand guidelines.
Utilize UX/UI principles to enhance accessibility and user experience.
Champion the importance of strong design fundamentals across the organization.
Weave compelling narratives into your visual designs, creating a powerful impact.
Collaborate in brainstorming sessions to develop innovative creative concepts.
Skillfully format detailed content using InDesign for PDFs and PowerPoint.
Fuse images, typography, and motion graphics to create captivating designs.
Keep projects on track, meeting tight deadlines and updating teams on progress.
Provide guidance and support to fellow team members, acting as a valuable resource.
Ensure all work meets professional-grade standards in various media.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, standards, and software advancements.
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, UX/UI, data visualization, or related field.
High school diploma with 5+ years of relevant job experience.
A combination of equivalent education and work experience is acceptable.
3+ years of experience in producing complex designs using Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, PowerPoint, and Word.
2+ years of experience in crafting icon-based illustrations from scratch.
2+ years of experience formatting content based on existing styles.
2+ years of experience developing annotated mocks for software development teams.
Location and Benefits:
We have exciting opportunities available in various locations, including Washington, DC; Princeton, NJ; Chicago, IL, or Remote. The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $55,000 to $65,000 annually.
