Geva Theatre Center, the regional theatre leader in Western New York with LORT B & D stages, seeks applicants for Costume Shop Manager. Under the supervision of the Production Manager, job duties will include: Provide leadership and management to the Costume Shop staff, Serve as primary contact with guest designers, Manage all Costume shop facilities, equipment and resources, including labor, Collaborate with Wig and Wardrobe Supervisor on the care of all costume items, Serve as primary shopper/buyer, shipper/receiver for the department and provide other administrative duties as required, such as completing credit card purchase logs, maintaining accurate running budget totals, completing annual performance reviews with staff. Candidate must have advanced knowledge of professional theatrical costume construction techniques and period style for clothing and hair. Candidate will be responsible to coordinate both incoming and outgoing rentals with other theatres and commercial vendors. Candidate must be an excellent communicator and able to both collaborate and work independently. A positive attitude, good work ethic and attention to detail are essential to this position.

This is a full-time position, starting as soon as possible. Full benefits. Pay range of $48,000- 52,000 annually. Design opportunities are a possibility. Please complete the online application form.
