Job Description
We have partnered with a non-profit organization in the Houston, TX area to provide them with a Corporate Impact Officer. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested.


Prioritized Must Have Skills For The Corporate Impact Officer


#1. Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to establish and implement systems and identify resources to ensure the successful completion of projects.


#2. Develops strong working relationships and facilitates communication between internal staff and/or external constituents.


Responsibilities Of The Corporate Impact Officer
  • Works collaboratively with other departments and partners with development staff, including Regional Impact Officers assigned to a chapter, to create customized solicitation strategies matching the objectives of the organization and interests of the door/prospect.
  • Implements programs/activities to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors at the $2,500 level or higher, with an emphasis on maximizing revenue.
  • Manages a portfolio of donors and prospects that are specific to corporate strategy.
  • Organizations: Cultivates, solicits, and stewards support from corporations and foundations to meet annual fundraising goals within the regions. This includes assisting corporations in achieving their goals in strengthening their brand, marketing, and employee engagement by being proficient at clearly articulating campaigns, listening to corporations needs and aligning campaigns to their interests, researching of foundations interests, preparing grant proposals, and engaging foundation staff and foundation board members to cultivate and solicit support for the organization.
  • Reponsiblie for minimum annual fundraising goal as specified in performance standards, including both renewable and new gifts.
  • Personally solicits assigned donor portfolio, including preparation of personalized materials when needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • Identified potential planned giving prospects.
  • Works with members of Corporate to ide regions.
  • Develops and executes ongoing, corpotify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors and new activations.
  • Develops ongoing relationships with major donors for the benefit of the non-profit.


Requirements Of The Corporate Impact Officer


  • Bachelors Degree in a related field required and 3 years of experience in fundraising and/or sales
  • Flexibility to work as part of a team or independently to meet goals in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Self-directed to take action and resolve issues.
  • Self-disciplined, action-oriented style that thrives in a start-up environment. Prioritizes tasks to meet deadlines. Strong work ethic.
  • Understands organizational structure and works through administrative systems. Asks questions to facilitate work being completed.
  • Develops strong working relationships and facilities communication between internal staff and/or external constituents.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to establish and implement systems and identify resources to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills. Investigate issues, ask thoughtful questions and recommends possible solutions. Builds a logical approach to addressing problems by drawing on own knowledge and experience or by seeking other references or resources appropriate.
  • Maintains a customer services demeanor at all times. Builds rapport and provides assistance to high- profile external constituents as well as internal staff. Takes detailed and thorough messages and conveys them effectively to others.
  • Makes appropriate decisions or choices based on understanding alternative courses of action and potential repercussions.
  • Sound judgement and discretion in handling and securing confidential information. Conducts oneself in a highly professional manner.
