What we are looking for:

Yazaki is looking for a Import/Export Coordinator, to join our Supply Chain and Logistics team in El Paso, TX. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative and action-driven environment making lasting impacts on the organization.

What you will be doing:

• Able to work any shift
• Creates domestic and international invoices for shipments.
• Monitors transportation providers to assure most cost effective and appropriate method of transportation is being used.
• Perform 5’S functions
• Participate in ISO-14001, NYS, Kaizen, and QCC activities and audits as required.
• Interacts with freight forwarder, customs brokers, domestic carrier representatives, insurance and claims adjusters.
• Work on special projects or assignments as needed.
• Maintain and file applicable NAFTA and traffic documents
• Prepares required documentation and ensures compliance of domestic and international regulations and related shipments.
• Process special shipments assuring timely delivery, correct documentation and tracking of domestic and international shipments.
• Generate and interpret traffic/transportation reports as needed.
• Provide information regarding NAFTA requirements.
• Initiates follow through and collects domestic and international freight claims
• Maintains a high level of customer service satisfaction with internal and external customers.
• Coordinates freight movement of materials/finished good domestically and internationally.
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Must be able to work overtime based on business needs

What you will bring to the table:

• Weekends and after-hours sometimes required
• Bilingual in Both English and Spanish
• Microsoft Suite, SAP, and BEAMS experience preferred
• Associates Degree in Related field; applicable experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Required: 2 years of experience in Traffic field and office/warehouse area
• Some Domestic and international travel is required.
• Physical Requirements: Walking, Standing, and Sitting for long periods of time. Some stooping-bending at the waist. Occasional repetitive motion-movement of wrists, hands and fingers
