Coordinator, People Team (Fulfillment Center)

Role Summary:

The People Coordinator will work closely with business partners on a daily basis in order to assist with the day-to-day operations of Saks. The People Coordinator will create effective working relationships with internal employees and business partners. This role provides administrative support to the People function as needed, including record-keeping, HRIS entry and maintenance and new hire system setup.


Key Qualifications:

  • High Proficiency in MS Office Suite (especially Excel)
  • Flexible schedule based on business needs, may include nights and weekends
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills with the capability and desire to work with a collaborative team, and possess the interest to grow into other people related roles
  • 4 year degree, preferably in Human Resources, Retail or Business Management
  • 6-12 months of Human Resources experience preferred, fulfillment center experience preferred
  • You are highly organized and detail oriented and can prioritize and multi-task
  • Excellent knowledge of Google Suite (Mail, Slides, Sheets, Docs, Drive)

Role Description:

  • Provide compliance reporting and follow up
  • Must be able to utilize Workday as well as a case management system
  • Maintain employee information in Workday
  • Provide basic employee relations support and ensure that company policies and procedures are followed and administered in a fair and non-discriminatory manner,.
  • Facilitate New Hire Orientation and various training offerings
  • Respond to general email and phone inquiries
  • Take on additional projects as needed.
  • Support company People initiatives and programs.
  • Support the employee population at our fulfillment center by administering all designated employee lifecycle events including employee initiated inquiries
