Controller Jobs

Scope of Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive financial updates to senior management by valuating, analyzing, and reporting appropriate data. Moreover, this role guides financial decisions by applying Bank policies and procedures to current economic landscape. Additionally, the controller assists in the implementation, development, and maintenance of financial guidelines.

• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts and report variances
• Support all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, and development of internal control policies and procedures. Controller responsibilities will also include financial risk management.

Experience:

• CPA or CMA preferred
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• 5+ years minimum of overall combined accounting and finance experience
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills

Education:

•Master’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

Language:

•English and Spanish (required), Portuguese (plus)
