We have an exciting opportunity for a Contracts Manager who wants to work on dynamic innovative contracts.

What you will do:

In this role, you will be a business partner responsible for Contracts Administration analysis of Request for Proposals (RFP) proposal strategy reviews and coordination, contract negotiation, contract administration, non-disclosure agreements, and other business agreements. Additionally, you will support corporate compliance ensuring the Quality Management System is ISO 9001 compliant and certified. Our contracts are Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF).

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• Manage contracts after award.
• Take ownership of the customer relationship and the provision of business counsel to the Program Management Teams.
• Responsible for ISO 9001 certification and Quality Management System is compliant and certified.
• Work as a collaborative team member with Program Managers, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain and Legal to construct and submit proposals to win new business.
• Review RFPs, proposals and contractual documents for contractual requirements and risks, ensure proposed solutions meet customer requirements and meet company policies and standards.
• Negotiate terms and conditions, cost, and price.
• Perform as key contributor during the pre-proposal strategy, proposal development, negotiation and start up phases of programs.
• Advise key stakeholders of contractual rights & obligations.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5 years contracts administration, proposal generation & RFP review experience with U.S. Government or Department of Defense under the FAR, DFARS, ITAR and related regulations as well as multiple contract types (CPFF, FFP, FFP-LOE, T&M, OTA)
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Eligibility verification for U.S. government issued security clearance required prior to start date.
• Requires a bachelor’s degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience in contracts, business, or related field,

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience developing and maintaining high-performance relationships with internal and external stakeholders and customers.
• Ability to multi-task across programs.
• Excellent communication skills to be able to interface with all levels of internal and external customers.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Adobe
• ISO:9001 experience.

The salary range for this role is 90,000 USD - 135,000 USD; however, Synectic Solutions considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
