Job Description
Summary The T64/T408 United States Marine Corps (USMC) and International Heavy Lift Contract Performance Manager will demonstrate accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In the role of Contract Performance Manager, you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, lead contract renewal and business development opportunities, and contribute to the overall business strategy. The T64/T408 long term service contracts represent some of the largest service contracts in GE Defense & Systems and are critical to USMC readiness goals.


Roles and Responsibilities


As the T64/T408 Military Contract Program Manager, key responsibilities will include:


  • Be responsible for the program profit and loss
  • Review invoices for assigned accounts and collect cash in a timely manner
  • Be responsible for contract flow down and the development of program plans related to the contract performance process
  • Frequent (30%) travel required domestically and internationally
  • Provide total program leadership by organizing GE support functions
  • Establish productivity goals by contract and/or product
  • Responsible for managing relationships with Fleet Readiness Center East (FRCE) at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, NC – including frequent meetings on site
  • Determine and flow down customer repair shop visit forecasts
  • Manage the Contract Margin Review (CMR) process and associated profitability metrics
  • Represent GE in business and contractual discussions with customer. Develop and prepare responses to requests for proposals (RFP)
  • Provide coordination with the customer ensuring customer satisfaction and organize technical reviews as required


Required Qualifications


  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Services & Contract Performance Management (CPM).
  • Require Work location is in or local to Havelock, NC.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a United States Government Top Secret security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. GE will require proof of status prior to employment
  • Any offer of employment is conditional upon the successful completion of a drug screen.


Desired Qualifications


  • Minimum of 2 years of experience managing long-term customer service agreements / time and material contracts, OR
  • Master's degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term contract margin reviews
  • 3+ years experience maintaining and supporting turbine engines
