Job Description

What you will do:

The Contract Administrator will work as an individual contributor alongside the Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) team members. Specific duties will include:

Contract Administration:

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including legal, procurement, finance, and project management, to ensure contracts align with company policies and project requirements.
  • Ensure all contract terms and conditions are accurately captured, and contracts are properly executed and archived.
  • Facilitate the contract management process, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with external stakeholders, suppliers, and vendors.
  • Monitor and track contract performance, amendments, and renewals, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and deadlines.
  • Address any contract-related issues, disputes, or claims in a timely and efficient manner.

Document Control Management:

  • Train and support employees in document control procedures, ensuring adherence to established processes and guidelines.
  • Develop and implement document control procedures, policies, and systems to maintain accurate records and support efficient workflows.
  • Conduct regular audits to verify document accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.
  • Manage the creation, revision, distribution, and archiving of project documents, including contracts, technical specifications, drawings, permits, and other project-related documentation.
  • Maintain version control and ensure proper document naming conventions, organization, and accessibility.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Provide timely updates and reports on contract status, document control metrics, and key performance indicators to relevant stakeholders.
  • Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders, fostering effective communication and collaboration throughout the contract and document control lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather and disseminate project-related information, ensuring accurate and timely document updates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, legal studies, engineering, or a related field strongly preferred.
  • 3-5 years' experience in contract administration, document control, or a related role within the renewable energy, construction, or engineering industry.
  • Ability to work in the SLC office 2 to 3 days a week
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, document management systems, contract management software. Familiarity with Bluepoint preferred.
  • Relevant certifications or additional training in contract management and document control strongly preferred.
