SUMMARY OF POSITION:


Provides revenue contract, pricing and commercial reporting support for the SpecGx business. Many of the responsibilities below require peer review amongst the contracts team members and approval.


  • Works closely with Legal and Finance to ensure all deals are compliant with business policies and acts as a liaison with other functions (Customer Service, Credit, Rebates) to ensure proposed terms are supported by these functional areas.
  • Utilize the pricing analysis models and understand the various key terms and elements of the model to prepare contracts, amendments, and price notifications. Also prepare bid responses in coordination with Pricing, Product Management, and/or Sales organizations. Includes working with Legal and Finance, plus review and identify issues/concerns.
  • Price entry into Partner for changes and new awards on API customers.
  • Maintain contract files utilizing document management system and maintain templates as directed by manager. Maintain all contract pricing and rebates in the Revenue Management System, including the routing documents for system-based approvals. Utilize SalesForce for tracking Marketing driven pricing initiatives and maintain customer contracts and amendments in SalesForce.
  • Prepare standard and non-standard contract documents in coordination with Pricing, Product Management, and/or Sales organizations. Includes possessing a clear understanding of standard exceptions versus those that may require additional approval.
  • Prepares amendments and/or letters of notification to existing contracts and also prepares bid responses and initiates the implementation of bid acceptances. Follows up with Sales reps and/or Pricing department on any exceptions noted.
  • Run daily “Bid Awards” and send notifications to appropriate wholesalers notifying them of updated contract terms/products for third party customers.
  • Interpret revenue and rebate contracts, understand key elements and determine business and financial implications. Understand contract language as it relates to contract setup and maintenance to ensure accurate pricing and calculation of customer rebates.
  • Loads contract pricing, initial membership, and rebates programs in the Revenue Management System (Model N). Responds to various pricing and contract inquiries and resolves price discrepancies on chargeback submissions. Maintains proper audit support for price changes and entry.
  • Resolve chargeback price discrepancies, as needed. Respond to various pricing and contract inquiries from Sales, Pricing, Product Management, Finance, Customer Service, Wholesalers, and Customers.


Scope Of Position / Relationship With Others


This role reports to Manager, Contracts & Pricing and works closely with Pricing, Finance, Legal, Sales, Product Management, Customer Service, Wholesalers, and Customers.


In addition, this role works closely with all levels of Mallinckrodt management and project teams.


Education


Associates degree in Business, Accounting or Finance field or equivalent experience.


Bachelor’s degree a plus.


Experience


1 to 3 years’ experience with customer contracting, reporting, contract operations, or customer service; and


experience with Accounts Receivable/Payable, Cognos, Excel, Word, AS400 Queries, rfXcel, invoicing systems.


Preferred Skills/Qualifications


Working knowledge of order management systems, customers and product lines.


Report writing skills (i.e. ability to create/modify World Writer, Cognos and AS400 queries)
