ABOUT THE COMPANY:

We are a slime company based in Round Rock, TX created to provide a creative outlet and therapeutic toy with over 8 million total social media fans! Our social media presence is growing rapidly, and we are looking for a videographer/video editor who will work closely with our creative team to help make diverse high-performing content for our social platforms while maintaining brand standards.

As a videographer & video editor at Snoopslimes, you will play a key role in our branding by ideating, filming and editing for Snoopslimes social media channels (mainly TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram). The ideal candidate has experience with creating social media video content, a proven track record of creating high-quality content, and genuinely loves and understands our slime products and textures, so they can authentically communicate it to our customers.

This position requires a hard working individual who is willing to help create a quality product- including clay designs and preparation, handling large tubs of slime for shooting, and other tasks related to setting up a shoot.

HOURS, PAY & SCHEDULE:

This is a hybrid position where you will be working both in-office at our Round Rock office location and remotely. Expected video output of 6-8 short form videos per week to start. This position is a full-time, salaried position.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to):

• Organize and upload content to internal asset storage
• Edit content that is shot by other members of the creative team such as daily vlogs, behind the scenes, etc.
• Bring fresh perspective and your own ideas to the table, embracing a no idea/task is too small mentality when executing themes
• Brainstorm and storyboard ideas for content, working to tell our brand story and engage with a wider audience on the platform
• Produce raw video footage for Snoopslimes social channels and work closely with our creative team to tailor the content to our slime community and social channels
• Maintain Snoopslimes brand standards and consistent look and feel across all social content
• Communicate and partner with our creative team on the ideation, planning and execution of social-media videos
• Create fast, digestible visual content via mobile device to turn into social media content (short-form videos, Reels, Stories, BTS)
• Ensure consistent and high-quality visual output that maintains our brand standards by giving and receiving feedback
• Constantly experiment and remain adaptable to weekly/monthly trends, and propose ideas to/with our creative team on how to tailor these to our brand
• Help out with other duties necessary to produce video content with our creative team
• Participate on set and capture real time and event content (video and photography)from Snoopslimes hosted events/photoshoots when necessary
• Independently and quickly edit videos using professional video editing software

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Positive and solution-based attitude
• High degree of attention to detail, specifically when handling multiple video projects, versioning, and receiving feedback from project owner and director
• Proven experience of creating content for social media channels (Content samples required with application)
• 2+ years in a video production, editing, or design related role
• 2+ years of past TikTok and video creation experience that performed well on social media, backed by a fundamental understanding of brand voice
• Ability to collaborate with others and work in a team environment
• Have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Deep proficiency in video creation, specifically for TikTok, Reels, and You Tube Shorts.
• Self-starter who is equally confident working solo or collaboratively as part of a bigger project
• Keeping up with the latest trends on social media and understands Gen Z social trends
• Experience with photo & video editing software including Adobe Creative Suite video products (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Color Correction)
• Passion in the ASMR community, slime, fidget toys, or baking is a plus
• A pro at distilling complicated topics into digestible concepts
• Ability to take feedback and implement edits
• This role must take ownership of its impact on each project and see that all details are well thought out
• Ability to actively contribute to social content brainstorming
• Ability to commute to our office located in Round Rock, TX
• Passion for content creation and all things social media
• Someone who is curious, passionate, and gets excited about social media trends
