Job Description
Position Summary


The purpose of this position is to grow brand relevance and sales by unlocking growth through powerful research, consumer insights and analysis.


Role & Responsibilities


  • Interface with consumers and customers in support of consumer insight strategies and marketing programming
  • Responsible for the delivery of customized reporting and analysis of category information
  • Ensure all marketing and advertising programs and digital materials are DISCUS compliant and oversee that external partners/vendors are knowledgeable of any and all DISCUS post audit needs and processes
  • Play a key role in the delivery of strategy and tactics of overall annual brand plans
  • Develop actionable insights for the categories and product lines
  • Monitor competitive market data and be the consumer trend expert
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of category/consumer insights and best practices to create solutions to satisfy brand strategies and objectives
  • Deliver all research assets on time and on budget with tremendous attention to deadlines and detail
  • Analyze consumer scorecards and research

  • External: Agency Partners & Advertising/Creative/Social Media/PR


Knowledge And Experience


  • Detail oriented and organized, with exceptional prioritization skills.
  • Food and beverage experience or fast-paced agency experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA a plus
  • Programming skills (ability to hack together solutions)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experienced in media planning tactics
  • Strategic understanding of traditional, digital, and social-specific media planning & buying, along with the proper metrics of success and measurement opportunities
  • Ability to effectively communicate with senior management, supervisors, and peers, internally and externally.
