Job Description
The Administrative Assistant performs various project-related duties, including processing subcontractor invoices, preparing monthly project invoices to Owners, processing Subcontracts, etc.
The position involves interacting with subcontractors, project owners, architects and others involved in the project. Good communication skills are a must.
AIA and Commonwealth of Virginia billings are performed monthly (or as required), along with corresponding subcontractor/vendor billings.
The position further includes reviewing change orders and preparing them for signatures and further processing.
The Administrative Assistant prepares monthly SWAM reports for specific projects if required.
General Office duties to include filing, copying, answering phones, etc.
Requirements
Previous experience in the construction industry with contractors & sub-contractors is a plus.
