DESCRIPTION:
Someone that is a proficient, self-motivated individual who under the direction of the IT Director is responsible for the daily implementation, maintenance, and internal customer support of the company’s technology-based information systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Provide hardware and desktop support to include answering and resolving internal IT tickets, replacing user’s computers as needed, assist in drive cloning and desktop implementations
• Occasional travel to various worksites may also be required, depending on assignment
• Assist with office desk phone setups
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned
• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Administer company door swipes for set up, maintenance and deletion
• Drop network cables when needed
• Oversee printer toner inventory and replacement
• Assist with documentation of network infrastructure and layout
• Enter IT specific PO’s, and receive PO’s
• Install, troubleshoot, maintain and modify computer and network system software.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 1+ years of technical background/experience preferred or equivalent combination of college/vocational school computer technical education and experience working in a technical business environment.
• Experience in managing multiple project deadlines.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Certifications a plus
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented, entrepreneurial attitude and excellent work ethic.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED AT ENTRY

• Ability to program/set up individual company cell phones.
• Ability to interact with users, and provide clear and useful instruction and training; or obtain necessary information to correct production problems on a timely basis.
• Ability to detect, analyze and resolve computer software and network problems.
• Ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions.
• Ability to correctly install and maintain computer hardware and software.
• Knowledge of data processing professional standards.
• Ability to identify and monitor potential operational malfunctions.
• Knowledge of computer program debugging.
• Knowledge of computer operations, programming and computer hardware and software.
• Ability to solve programming, hardware and software problems in a logical manner.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED FOR FULL-PERFORMANCE

• Knowledge of the basic principles of systems analysis and design.
• Ability to respond quickly and effectively to uncertainty and constant changes in technology.
• Knowledge of computer hardware and software operations and capabilities.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other staff, vendors and users.
• Skill in installing and maintaining computer hardware and software.
