Community Specialist (Remote) Jobs

This is a rare opportunity to be the voice of CORSAIR in the community, including but not limited to Discord and Reddit. We are looking for a PC gaming enthusiast with proven experience in a similar role, who can speak in an authentic voice online with significant analytical experience across social and community platforms focused on KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Manage reporting on monthly metrics and engagement trends.
• Build an authentic online brand presence that speaks to the PC gaming community.
• Spot trends, memes, and cultural movements happening online while they are relevant, and be able to take those trends an turn them into positive interactions with our brand.
• Put together community marketing plans based on growth and engagement for an ever changing content lansdscape.
• Engage with the online community and seek out new CORSAIR ambassadors, other content creators, and partners across the CORSAIR community.
• Work with the extended marketing team to execute campaigns focused on Reddit and Discord with an eye on adapting plans to match the platform.
• Build a deep understanding of the CORSAIR eco-system and be able to message how we fit into the PC gaming community.

Basic Qualifications

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s Degree in communications or marketing, or demonstrable alternative experience.
• 3+ years experience as a community manager in games, tech, or a closely related industry.

Preferred Qualifications

• Superb communication skills both online and in person with cross-disciplinary teams.
• Must have a basic understanding of PC hardware and must be able to convey technical information in a concise and entertaining way. Ideally you’ve built your own PC!
• Image editing experience a distinct advantage.
• Highly organized and a self-starter who isn’t afraid to bring ideas to the table with facts and data to back up a plan.
• Proven ability to combine professionalism with creative writing to spur engagement within the community.
• Must be a gamer, a passion for PC gaming highly preferred.
• Proven track record of success managing the community with an understanding of what is required on Discord and Reddit today.
