Job Description

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Our client is the leading marketing technology and demand generation partner for high-tech B2B companies like Google, Palo Alto, and ZoomInfo. They improve clients marketing results by making generating high quality leads easy and affordable.


They are looking for a remote Community Marketing Manager who will be responsible for growing and engaging their millions-strong community through programs, technology, and promotions. In this role you will be collaborating closely with their business, design, and product teams to help them get new community members by building a strong member acquisition strategy, and engage existing community members through the community portal.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:


Growing the community footprint

  • Create survey, intent, and reward programs to encourage participation
  • Acquire new members through effective marketing outreach
  • Strengthen referral program benefits to encourage existing members to help us grow
  • Track and incent users in support of business targets


Manage the community with highest degree of technology and expertise

  • Expand the breadth and depth of what they know about community members
  • Turnover awareness to measure cost of a member
  • Own and oversee the success of the community portal


Be Analytics-Driven

  • Measure success through forecast accuracy
  • Use analytics to drive growth and engagement investments
  • Communicate state of community to internal constituents


Represent Core Values

  • Make loyalty/engagement a critical and strategic differentiation for the company

  • Champion the community in all matters internally and externally



QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Prior experience working in a company that offers a technical product or online community for technical personas (IT/Engineers etc.) Experience marketing to technical personas, highly preferred
  • 3-5+ years of experience in building a community and/or building integrated campaigns to acquire and engage users
  • Experience either growing a following from zero, or hyper-accelerating the scale of an existing network through any combination of social media, newsletters, blogs, or any other forms of direct-marketing and sales.
  • Great communicator, confident, personable, and comfortable working with internal teams and proactively with external community members.
  • Extremely well organized, have a high attention to detail, and love creating systems that make everyone’s lives easier.
  • Experience using advanced analytical, planning, organization and time management skills to effectively execute project plans and budgets.
  • Have a proven ability to thrive in a highly cross-functional, start-up and fast-paced environment, dealing with ambiguity and being a self-starter.
  • A problem solver, and you value passing on knowledge in a way that promotes growth-hacking, re-sharing, and that creates a force-multiplier effect.
  • You take ownership of your work and manage your time independently.
