Job Description

: In this exciting role, you will assist with the most important element of our organization – our community! This role will include interacting with our Members, physical space upkeep and Member management. We need someone who is passionate about people, community building, and all things entrepreneurship/small business. This is one of the most visible and connected roles in our community as you will set the tone for everyone who walks through our doors - so, we are looking for someone who can confidently represent our brand and culture genuinely. In this role, you will work closely with our Operations Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with providing membership tours at 1909

• Communicate with 1909 Members and keep them engaged in our community

• Member and Membership management and troubleshooting

• Order and keep track of inventory as needed

• Keep the memo board in the space updated with events and announcements

• Help with daily operations and maintaining the cleanliness/organization of 1909

• Help organize community event and member only events

• Work with 1909 team to execute workshops and bring in speakers

• Keep the member online portal and calendar up to date with upcoming events

• Assist with other projects as needed


Required Qualifications:

• Hospitality / Customer service experience

• Great communication skills

• A good eye for design and an interest in making spaces feel and look nice

• Must be a self-starter (you do not wait to be told what to do....)

• Great time-management skills •

Organized and detail-oriented

• Must be willing to experiment, learn, and grow creatively and professionally

• Must have the ability thrive in varied environments

• Must be able to recognize and adapt to changing conditions

• Must be a team player with a can-do attitude, always willing to pitch in and go above and beyond


Job Details:

• Part-Time (20-25 hrs per week)

• Pay based on experience
