Communications Graphic Design Specialist Ii (Remote)

This is a fully remote position
BAE Systems is looking for someone with a strong skills in writing and design to create engaging and breakthrough communications.
Enterprise Shared Services provides centralized IT, Finance and HR services to BAE Systems. We put our customers first and work to advance services and solutions that enable them to achieve their missions.
As a member of the Enterprise Shared Services Communications team, the Communications Specialist will help create and manage function campaigns and projects that target company employees as well as their ESS colleagues. The incumbent will also help develop and execute ESS employee engagement and community investment activities that meet the evolving needs of a hybrid workforce to stay connected and giveback.

• Supports and leads employee engagement and community investment programs and activities.
• Creates and edits videos and animation using Microsoft Suite, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and animation tools. (writing and design portfolio will be requested of all who interview)
• Manages intranet pages and creates microsites.
• Writes, edits and prepares internal materials, including ESS publications, group emails, intranet pages, graphics and presentation materials for distribution through company communication channels.
• Develops and executes communication campaigns in support of ESS and function strategies and initiatives
• Creates and edits videos and animation using Microsoft Suite, Photoshop and animation tools.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• 2-4 years of experience creating internal communications - writing and design
• Experience in creating and editing videos and animation using Microsoft Suite, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and animation tools.
• Attention to detail, pro-active attitude and highly organized work style
• Ability to take initiative and drive results
• Strong writing skills coupled with basic graphic design knowledge
• Quick learner with the ability to manage multiple projects/activities with a commitment to deadlines
• Experience and ability to work collaboratively within an organization

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Preferred college degree in Journalism/Communications or Graphic Design and two years experience or equivalent experience
