Qualifications:

• Junior to Intermediate level job performance depends on strong teamwork, well-developed interpersonal skills to build strong relationships both internally and with third parties, and a strong sense of purpose.
• Team driven and comfortable in senior-level communication and presentational skills.
• Culturally sensitive.
• A thorough knowledge of the petroleum products market in US/Latin American countries including refinery and logistics assets including pipeline systems in the US, and has a broad range of personal network connections in the market.
• Strong commitment to the company for 1) trading business development supported by Asset Backed Trading and 2) works on Renewable Naphtha to contribute to their de-carbonization target.
• Accountable for consistently meeting targeted product delivery schedules, profitability, and optimization targets.
• A certain market view mainly for Naphtha in order to execute transactions both in Asia-US/Latin American countries arbitrage trading and trading within the US/Latin American region.
• Self-starter with the ability to build/develop a business from scratch.
• Entrepreneurial with the ability to achieve the target of profit, and negotiate contracts for purchase/sale of Naphtha/Renewable Naphtha supply within limits of authority.
• Strong commercial acumen, numeracy skills, and track record of delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Periodical Trading Target & Performance Making

• Pursuing Naphtha trading by re-optimizing the initial flow (Southeast and West Asia), and collaborating with trading team members in Tokyo, Singapore, and London.
• Discuss and set trading targets periodically and establish detailed strategy and action plan through close communication among both domestic and international team members.
• Pursuing Naphtha procurement and delivery to the refining system.
• Such the target is as followings but not limited to:
• Execute transactions within limits of authority and report as guided.
• Works to develop biofuel trading business such as procurement and delivery of Renewable Naphtha to refining systems for clients.
• Exploring and establishing originated business in the US and Latin America region, such as concluding supply of Naphtha in the Americas and structuring blending business in the Americas to make best synergy among Naphtha/Gasoline trading business.

General Scope of Duties

• Coordinate and optimize logistical arrangements to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of Naphtha/Renewable Naphtha shipments.
• Establish and sustain relationships with key suppliers/counterparties.
• Identify and pursue commercial trading opportunities. Provide market assessment for the development of the region's tactical trading strategy in accordance with risk management policies.
• Support trading strategies by using fundamental model analysis or trades with reputable counterparties that are back-to-back in nature. Emphasis is to be put also on synergy works with Gasoline.
• Advising management on current Naphtha/Renewable Naphtha trading conditions. Gather and report competitive intelligence on underlying supply and demand elements impacting assigned regions. Prepare and present purchase price forecasts and variance analysis periodically as per guidance.
• Initiate team working with other team members to maximize business synergy in cross-barrel trading opportunities, particularly with the Gasoline trading business.
• Responsible for the profit and loss of the Naphtha system/trading.
• Back up duties in the case of his/her teammate's absence in the office.
• Determine recommendations for company hedging strategy on both occasions executing paper swap transactions under the current policy and introducing a new hedging policy for sophisticating risk management and expanding profitability thru paper swap execution.
