You will sit at the very heart of T-Mobile's decision-making process and will be involved in the most crucial choices related to the trajectory of our business. We drive clarity of action for senior marketing and business leaders. To do so we leverage a toolkit of problem framing, data-driven thinking, and econometric evaluation. You will be a Commercial Strategy Sr. Analyst, a position that requires relentless curiosity, systems thinking, obsession with value creation, and comfort with ambiguity.


More specifically, you will:


  • Evaluate tradeoffs and commercial decisions spanning product, price, channel, media, and brand
  • Grapple with industry and economic trends to navigate future uncertainties
  • Build and deliver unique recommendations and perspectives to key executives
  • Investigate and understand the competitive landscape to find gaps and opportunities for growth
  • Help T-Mobile decide where best to allocate resources while comparing different outcomes


QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Independent doer. You desire a high level of responsibility and can work with minimal supervision. You are comfortable working in a high-intensity environment.
  • Storyteller. You have a knack for influencing others and a track record of distilling complex information into compelling stories and tailoring your message to audiences.
  • Disciplined project manager. You are always thinking a few steps ahead, laying out thoughtful and achievable project plans. You understand how to engage others and what information and data you need to achieve your goals.
  • Problem solver. You can identify the key issues that impact business decisions and have excellent analytical skills to drive insights. You can interpret data ranging from customer surveys to cash flow statements.
  • At least 2 years of experience with a focus on business strategy, management consulting, financial modeling, business analytics or related fields.
  • Structured thinker. You can frame and bring structure to large, complex, or ambiguous problems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar discipline


Washington Pay Range: $91,900 - $124,300


  • The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range.
  • At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance, while Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives. And since we are ALL owners, EVERY employee at T-Mobile is eligible for an Annual Stock Grant.
